543 Mucous membrane pemphigoid is associated with multiple somatic and psychiatric comorbidities

Mucous membrane pemphigoid (MMP) is a group of rare autoimmune blistering conditions mostly affecting the mucous membranes elderly people. National epidemiological data and larger studies on comorbidities MMP are scarce. We analyzed incidence in retrospective, case-control registry study all patients diagnosed specialized health care hospitals between 1996 2018 Finland (n=268). Also, specialties diagnostic code registrations were determined. The mean was 0.44 per million year it varied during period. female to male ratio 1,8:1. In 90.4% (n=245) patients, diagnosis registered either dermatology or dentistry units remaining 6.7% (n=18) 1.9% (n=5) ophthalmology other specialties, respectively. analysis comorbidities, several psychiatric somatic disorders significantly associated with MMP.
